dbaith, other methods for sealing the AIS ports in the V Star 650:

A spent .45 ACP shell is supposed to be a nice press fit. I've been trying to get some pictures from my friends who have gone this route to put up. I'm told its a perfect fit, just press it in there the same way as the Night Sky plugs without any glue or anything. Go by any gun range and you should be able to get some of these for nothing.

Theres also the alternative methods of leaving the elbows in and sealing those. You can use a compression fitting like the kind used on swamp cooler or water heater copper tubing or use a bolt coated with high temp RTV and let it cure over night. Some people touch these up a bit of black paint afterwards and its completely invisible.

Nomatter which method you use, they are all barely noticeable unless you are looking for it.

Night Sky customs seems to have gone out of business. If you have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
